Energy Auditors

PRIZIM Inc. is hiring experienced, qualified energy auditors. Responsibilities include:

Conduct level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards and whole-building energy modeling of multiple asset types including commercial, retail, medical, and multi-family residential facilities.

Develop best practices and templates for energy audits reports, energy modeling, and project implementation.

Work with and manage sub-contractors to conduct energy audits, energy modeling, and analytical evaluation of results.

Applicants for this position should have professional-level knowledge of the following:

• Energy analysis of building systems, including HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, variable speed drive applications
• Building Automation Systems
• Building Envelope
• Lighting Systems
• Identifying, estimating and recommending energy performance projects
• Identifying and applying for federal, state, utility energy rebates and incentives

Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering and at least 4 years experience in energy efficiency, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of related experience.
• Certified Energy Manager or EIT a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, math and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Experience with Federal government facilities is a plus.

Auditors at PRIZIM tend to travel 40% of their time to clients located throughout the United States. Auditors typically work with staff at all levels within PRIZIM and among clients. A flexible approach and strong work ethic are vital to successful client assignments.
