Environmental/Energy Analyst

PRIZIM is hiring an Environmental/Energy Analyst with three to eight years' experience to support environmental programs of one of our Federal agency clients. Responsibilities include:
- Advise the client on energy conservation and environmental compliance programs
- Develop/maintain environmental program reports, metrics and performance indicators
- Support the energy performance benchmarking and energy auditing of the agency’s building portfolio
- Prepare annual environmental/energy reports for the client
- Develop/assist in project identification and justification using life cycle cost analysis
Applicants for the position should have professional-level knowledge of the following:
- Environmental policy (and how it impacts Federal agencies)
- Environmental Management Systems
- Identifying, estimating and recommending energy performance projects
- Energy performance benchmarking (using tools like Portfolio Manager)
Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications:
- A background in environmental studies or engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication, planning and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with environmental compliance issue a plus
- Experience with Federal government facilities is a plus
