Federal EMS Consultant (Code 090908)

Gaithersburg, MD

This position includes project management, sales, client development, and will serve as technical expert for compliance auditing, environmental management system implementation, and strategy development for Executive Order compliance, training, and related activities. Position will meet with new and existing clients to review regulatory issues and identify solutions.

Ideal candidates will have six years or more of related experience in consulting or government dealing with environmental issues, a working knowledge of federal environmental program management and regulations, strong problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills. Client development and project management experience in environmental consulting preferred. Candidate must be well networked with federal government community.  Expert knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental management software systems is a plus. Candidate must collaborate and work well with others, take initiative for involving and engaging colleagues, be willing to travel to client sites up to 25% of time. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
